Jeep Car Finance Claim — PCP & HP Compensation 2026

Scheme status (updated 5 August 2026): parts of the FCA motor finance redress scheme are temporarily suspended while the Upper Tribunal considers legal challenges. Lenders do not currently have to calculate or pay compensation under the scheme, the original decision and payment dates no longer apply, and no payment under the scheme is guaranteed. If the scheme proceeds, first payments are expected in 2027 at the earliest. Any dates mentioned below were set before the suspension.

If you financed a Jeep vehicle between April 2007 and November 2024, you may be entitled to compensation under the FCA confirmed motor finance redress scheme (PS26/3, 30 March 2026). Jeep finance in the UK is provided by Stellantis Financial Services UK Ltd — previously operating as FCA Automotive Services (part of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles). Stellantis has provisioned £37 million for PS26/3 redress. Average payout: £829.

Who Provides Jeep Car Finance in the UK?

Jeep finance in the UK is provided by Stellantis Financial Services UK Ltd. Prior to the 2023 Stellantis Financial Services consolidation, Jeep finance was arranged through FCA Automotive Services UK Ltd — the finance arm of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), which provided finance across Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Jeep and Maserati in the UK.

Whether your agreement names FCA Automotive Services, Jeep Financial Services, or Stellantis Financial Services, all refer to the same lender group. Your complaint goes to Stellantis Financial Services UK Ltd.

Is Jeep Finance Covered by PS26/3?

Yes. All regulated PCP and HP agreements arranged through franchised Jeep dealerships between 6 April 2007 and 1 November 2024 are within scope of PS26/3. Stellantis Financial Services has confirmed PS26/3 applies across all its brands and has set aside provisions accordingly.

Three Grounds for a Jeep Finance Claim

1. Discretionary Commission Arrangements (DCAs)

Prior to 28 January 2021, Jeep dealers arranging finance through FCA Automotive Services could vary the interest rate within a lender-defined range. Where this was not disclosed, you are eligible for compensation.

2. Unfairly High Fixed Commission

Post-January 2021 agreements may qualify where the fixed commission met the FCA threshold of 39% of the total cost of credit and 10% of the loan amount. Jeep vehicles carry above-average purchase prices, meaning commission amounts were typically higher than the national average.

3. Contractual Ties

The contractual tie exclusion applies where the lender and dealer share a visible brand association. DCA and unfairly high commission grounds apply fully to Jeep agreements.

Jeep Models Covered

All Jeep models financed on PCP or HP through franchised UK dealers between April 2007 and November 2024 are covered, including: Renegade, Compass, Cherokee, Grand Cherokee, Wrangler, Gladiator and Avenger (EV). Both new and used Jeep vehicles are within scope. Jeep vehicles typically carry higher purchase prices than mainstream brands, meaning commission amounts and potential compensation are often above the national average.

How Much Could You Receive?

The FCA confirmed average payout is £829. Given Jeep’s above-average vehicle prices, claimants may receive above £829. Use our car finance claims calculator to estimate your specific payout.

Scheme Timetable (Original Dates, Now Suspended)

Post-April 2014 agreements: Complain before 30 June 2026 → lender must respond by 30 September 2026 → payment by November 2026

Pre-April 2014 agreements: Complain before 31 August 2026 → decision by 30 November 2026 → payment by January 2027

Final complaint deadline: 31 August 2027

Under the original timetable, complaining before 30 June 2026 placed you in the earliest payment cohort. Those dates are suspended; complaining is still free and puts your complaint on record, but no payment under the scheme is guaranteed while the suspension stands.

How to Complain to Stellantis Financial Services UK Ltd (FCA Automotive Services / Jeep Financial Services)

Submit your complaint using the contact details on your original agreement or via the FCA’s official lender list at fca.org.uk/consumers/car-finance-complaints/list-lenders. Include:

  • The vehicle make, model and registration number if known
  • The approximate start date of the finance agreement
  • A statement that you are complaining about undisclosed commission arrangements under the FCA motor finance redress scheme (PS26/3)

Frequently Asked Questions

My agreement says FCA Automotive Services. Who do I complain to?

FCA Automotive Services UK Ltd was the predecessor entity. For PS26/3 purposes your complaint goes to Stellantis Financial Services UK Ltd. Use the FCA’s lender list for the current complaint address.

I financed a Jeep Grand Cherokee. These are expensive vehicles. Will I get more than £829?

Possibly. The PS26/3 hybrid remedy is based partly on the commission paid, which is proportionate to the loan value. Higher-value vehicles typically produced larger commissions and therefore larger potential payouts.

I financed a Jeep after January 2021. Am I eligible?

Yes. PS26/3 covers agreements up to November 2024 under the unfairly high fixed commission ground.

I have both a Jeep and a Fiat financed through the same entity. Can I claim for both?

Yes. Each eligible agreement is a separate claim. See: Multiple Car Finance Agreements.

Think You May Have a Motor Finance Claim?

The FCA estimates average compensation of around £830 per eligible agreement, but eligibility and payment amounts vary. Some customers may receive nothing. Complaints about agreements started from 1 April 2014 should be submitted by 30 June 2026 to be considered under the earlier timetable. Different dates apply to older agreements. The scheme is currently subject to legal challenge, so dates and payment timings may change.
