MyJar started operating in 2009 (formally Txtloan) and by 2019 had processed over 3 million loans. They were well respected by their customers with over 6,000 Trustpilot reviews averaging 4.1 out of 5 stars and in 2016 they won ‘Responsible Lender’ award at the F5 Credit Strategy awards

Administrators Harrisons Business Recovery were appointed on 22 December 2020 and in the same year the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) received 849 complaints about MyJar, resolving 55% of all claims in the claimant’s favour. The latest Administers Progress Report shows 4 unsecured creditors claims totalling £134k, with a further 8 creditors outstanding totalling £150k. Prior to the Administrators being appointed MyJar had 558 Redress claims totalling £312k. Claims are still open but you have to claim yourself via the MyJar website .

MyJar are accepting claims and according to their FAQ page state they aim to complete payouts within 15 working days of receipt of the settlement form.
